Evin Groves is a former Montana State University football player, husband to Beth Groves, and father of five.
His high school coaching career began at Bozeman High School in 2012, where he served as the tackle football program’s JV head coach and varsity running backs coach.
Evin later stepped away from high school coaching to pursue his passion for music technology, building software instruments for musicians. Football stayed part of family life: from 2018 to 2025, he coached his sons’ YMCA flag football teams.
When Bozeman High launched its inaugural girls flag football season, Evin returned to the high school sideline to coach his daughter and lead the Hawks. He helped guide the girls to a fourth-place finish in the school’s first girls flag football state tournament appearance.
Today, Evin brings his love of technology and football together through FLAGWARE: software made for flag football, shaped by his experience on the field and behind the screen.
